About Open House Ticino

The architecture of the Canton of Ticino (Switzerland) continues to generate great interest, both for its rich modern heritage and its more recent creations, extending well beyond the borders of the Canton and the Confederation. For centuries, this region has distinguished itself as an exporter of culture, craftsmanship, and architects who have left their mark across Europe. Open House Ticino, founded through a network of local and international actors with a deep understanding of the territory and its communities, aims to highlight this tradition through a carefully curated selection of historic, modern, and contemporary buildings, as well as private and public spaces, apartments, offices, and repurposed structures. The event offers a unique opportunity to explore this heritage through interconnected thematic routes, enabling not only a deeper engagement with the places visited but also facilitating movement between different involved locations.
